Is Apex Wallets free?

Yes. Creating and holding a wallet is completely free. The only costs are Bitcoin network fees when you send transactions. Those fees go to miners, not to Apex.

Do you hold my private keys?

No. Apex is non-custodial. Your private keys are encrypted on your device before they reach our servers. We never see, hold, or have any ability to move your funds.

What happens if I lose my password?

Your 12-word recovery phrase is the only way to restore access. Without it, we cannot recover your wallet due to our non-custodial design. Store your recovery phrase securely offline.

Do I need to complete KYC?

No. KYC is optional and available for users who want higher spending limits and priority support. You can create and use a wallet with just an email address.

What is a recovery phrase?

A recovery phrase (also called a seed phrase) is a set of 12 words that can restore your wallet on any compatible device. Write it down and store it somewhere safe. Never share it with anyone.

How long do Bitcoin transactions take?

Transactions typically confirm within 10-30 minutes, but this varies with network congestion and the fee paid. You can track the status from your transaction history.

Can I cancel a transaction?

Once a Bitcoin transaction is broadcast to the network, it cannot be cancelled or reversed. Always verify the recipient address and amount before confirming.

Is Apex available on mobile?

Apex is fully responsive and works in any mobile browser. A dedicated mobile app is in development.
