Find answers and learn how to use Apex Wallets.
Getting Started
Creating a wallet
Visit the signup page, enter your email and a strong password. Your wallet is generated instantly. Save your recovery phrase somewhere safe - it's the only way to restore access if you lose your password.
Sending Bitcoin
From your dashboard, use the Send panel. Enter the recipient's Bitcoin address and the amount. Review the network fee before confirming. Transactions are broadcast to the Bitcoin network and typically confirm within 10-30 minutes.
Receiving Bitcoin
Navigate to the Receive panel on your dashboard. Your wallet address is displayed as text and as a QR code. Share this address with the sender. Funds appear in your balance once the transaction has one confirmation.
Account Management
Changing your password
Go to Account Settings and use the password change form. You'll need your current password. Your recovery phrase remains valid regardless of password changes.
Security settings
From your account page, you can configure spending limits, enable email alerts, and manage browser notifications. We recommend enabling all available security features.
KYC verification
Identity verification is optional. Submit your ID documents from the Identity Verification page in your account menu. Verified accounts get higher spending limits and priority support.
Troubleshooting
Transaction stuck or unconfirmed
Bitcoin transactions require network confirmations. If your transaction is taking longer than expected, it may be due to network congestion. You cannot cancel a broadcast transaction from any wallet.
Forgot your password
Use your 12-word recovery phrase to restore access. If you've lost both your password and recovery phrase, your wallet cannot be recovered due to our non-custodial architecture.
